Donating Power Tools to Charity in Atlanta, GA

Are you trying to clear out space in your garage? Do you find yourself inexplicably in possession of three different drills and two belt sanders? Why not donate those or any power tools you’re not using to American Kidney Services? Proceeds from your donation in Atlanta, Georgia, will go to support the 37 million people in the U.S. who are living with chronic kidney disease.

Where to Donate Power Tools

When you’re ready to part with your power tools, American Kidney Services makes it easy to choose where to donate them. We have hundreds of drop boxes scattered around the greater Atlanta area for your convenience.

You can also donate at any of several Value Village locations, including those in Atlanta, Marietta, and Riverdale. Just box up your tools and bring them in. Let the store staff know you’re donating power tools to American Kidney Services. They’ll take things from there!

Scheduling a Donation Pickup

If you don’t have time to use one of our drop boxes or a Value Village store, that’s okay. You can schedule a donation pickup instead. Simply create an account and get on our pickup schedule. Then box or bag up your power tools, label the boxes and bags with “AKS” and put them outside your house. Our drivers are not permitted to enter your home or pick up anything that’s not clearly labeled.

What’s more, power tools aren’t the only donations we take. We also accept donations of clothing, shoes, books, toys, household items, cookware, lamps, clocks, small appliances, and more.
