Donate Used Books to an Atlanta Area Kidney Charity and Help Fight the Battle Against Kidney Disease

used-book-donationsAtlanta area residents can donate used books to American Kidney Services (AKS) and make a difference in the lives of people suffering from chronic kidney disease. We give your books a second home by selling them in thrift stores so that those who may not be able to buy new books can still have access to affordable, used reading materials. The proceeds generated from the sale of your donated books are given to the American Kidney Fund (AKF), which helps kidney patients meet their daily living expenses, such as rent, groceries, and utilities, as they pay their medical costs.

It’s easy to donate used books because AKS gladly welcomes such a wide variety of reading materials, including:

  • Paperbacks
  • Hardbacks
  • Cookbooks
  • Magazines
  • Reference books
  • How-to books
  • Text books
  • Coffee table books
  • Children’s books
  • And many more

AKS also accepts multimedia donations like DVDs, CDs, video games, books on tape, books on CD, and video tapes, in addition to small appliances, electronics, small furniture, men’s, women’s, and kid’s clothing, toys, decorative items, jewelry, kitchenware, and much more.

We strive to be one of the best charities in the Atlanta area, which is why we offer convenient, complimentary donation pick up service. All you need to do is call 770-441-2220 or fill out our online form to add your contact information to our regular donation free pickup list.
