Easy Ways to Make a Donation & Support Kidney Patients

American Kidney Services (AKS) takes pride in providing our donors with a variety of convenient ways to donate to our Atlanta charity. Regardless of where you live, we want you to be able to contribute used clothing and household items without having to rearrange your busy schedule. That’s why we’ve created the following ways to make a donation so that you can join us in the fight against kidney disease:

1. Donate by giving us your home phone number. You will be added to our regular donation call list for home donation pick ups.

2. Call us at 770-872-4260 to schedule a donation pick up. Our donation pick up drivers will come right to your home or office on a rotational schedule.

3. Find an AKS donation location near you. These storefront donation centers are attended Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., but feel free to donate at these locations 24/7.

4. Bring your donations to any of our hundreds of donation drop boxes throughout the Atlanta area.

5. Donate at any Value Village location in the Atlanta area.

6. Fill out our online form to add your contact information to our call list. You will receive a reminder call the day before your scheduled donation pick up. Simply bag or box all donations, label with “AKS,” and place outside where they will be visible from the road.

AKS gladly welcomes donations of used men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, small appliances, electronics, glassware, tableware, pots and pans, decorative items, toys, books, linens, and much more. Regardless of where you live in the Atlanta area or what you’re able to donate, kidney patients across the country need your help.
