Atlanta Non Profit American Kidney Services Welcomes Donations from Atlanta, Woodstock, Smyrna, Marietta, and Surrounding Areas
American Kidney Services (AKS) is an Atlanta non profit charity that provides financial aid to people who suffer from kidney disease. More than 26 million Americans have been diagnosed with kidney disease, and many struggle to keep up with the medical costs associated with treatment. AKS, in conjunction with the American Kidney Fund (AKF), helps provide direct monetary support to patients in need through proceeds generated from charitable donations. To accomplish our mission, residents in Atlanta, Alpharetta, Roswell, Marietta, Duluth, and surrounding communities are asked to donate items to AKS, with the understanding that even the smallest donations can make a big impact.
We welcome a wide variety of donated items, including:
- Clothing
- Small kitchen appliances, pots, and pans
- Small household furniture
- Home electronics, including TVs, CD players, and radios
- Books
- School supplies
- Toys
- Tools
- Jewelry
- And more
There are multiple ways for you to make a donation to our Atlanta non profit organization. AKS has a storefront donation center in Atlanta, and many convenient drop boxes (find the nearest drop box to you). Value Village thrift department stores also accept donations on behalf of AKS. You can also add your name and phone number to our donation pickup free pickup list by filling out our online form and AKS will come to your home or office free of charge to pick up donated items.
