Donations Pick Up in the Atlanta Area: Monday-Friday,
6:30 a.m.-Dusk

was the last time you got rid of clutter, scheduled an
easy donations pick up, and helped kidney disease patients
all across Georgia? If this sounds too good to be true,
you’ll want to learn more about American Kidney Services
(AKS).
AKS is an easily accessible charity group
that strives to increase the quality of life for patients
with kidney disease and patients undergoing kidney transplants.
We proudly donate our proceeds to the American Kidney
Fund so that their direct financial assistance to kidney
disease sufferers can continue. The numbers are staggering—26
million Americans suffer from kidney disease and nearly
80,000 of them remain on the waiting list for a transplant—so
AKS needs your help.
The AKS donations pick up service is easy
and free:
- Find items in your home or business
that you no longer use. We accept women’s, men’s, and
children’s clothing donations as well as small kitchen
appliances, electrical items, silverware, glassware,
decorative items, books, TVs, CD players, bedding, and
more as tax deductible* donations.
- Request a pick up on our rotational
truck schedule by calling 770-609-2200
or by signing up online.
- Bag or box all items and label them
with a prominent “AKS.” Our truck drivers are not allowed
to pick up items that are not labeled this way. Then,
set your donation outside on the scheduled day.
- Our drivers can make a donations pick
up as early as 6:30 a.m., Monday – Friday. Our drivers
pick up donations until dark, if necessary.
- Special pickups can be arranged on weekends
for expedited pick up, large item pick up, and garage
sale pick up.
