AKS Gladly Accepts Antique Donations, Collectibles, Vintage Items & More
Antique donations are a great way to make sure that the old items you’ve collected and loved for years find a happy second home. American Kidney Services (AKS) gladly welcomes antiques, collectibles, and vintage items. Whether you picked up an antique trinket at a garage sale, or you’ve had some Depression glass in your family for generations, we’ll come right to your home to pick up any antiques you’d like to donate.
Some examples of antique donations that AKS accepts include:
- Figurines and collectibles
- Dishes and china
- Ceramics and pottery
- Vases and glassware
- Small furniture
- Memorabilia
- Jewelry
- Books
- Coins
- Records
- Mirrors
- And much more
Antique donations to AKS are tax deductible*, and our pick up drivers will leave a tax receipt for you upon collecting your donations. However, AKS is unable to estimate the value of your donated items for tax purposes, so please use our online valuation guide. We suggest making a photo inventory of your donated antiques for documentation purposes.
In addition to antique donations, AKS accepts any used clothing, books, toys, kitchenware, decorative items, electronics, small appliances, and small furniture that have been gently used.
