It’s easy to recycle unwanted belongings in Athens, Georgia, thanks to American Kidney Services, Inc. We accept all kinds of donations, from toys to Tupperware and almost anything else that will help you declutter your home.

How to Donate Unwanted Belongings

There are two primary ways to donate unwanted belongings in the Athens area. The first is to visit any of our dozens of donation centers around the Greater Atlanta area. For example, you can find 28 drop boxes within 5 miles of Atlanta City Hall using our drop box locator. You can also visit donation centers like Value Village stores and the Roswell Recycling Center, among others.

The second way to donate unwanted belongings is to schedule a donation pickup. You can create an account and get on our pickup calendar. On your donation day, put your donation in boxes and bags clearly labeled with “AKS” and place them outside where our driver can easily see them. We don’t allow our drivers to enter your home, and they can’t take anything that’s not conspicuously labeled with “AKS.”
