A Book Donation Can Help Kidney Patients in Atlanta, Alpharetta, Roswell, Dunwoody, Marietta & Across the Nation

book_donationMaking a book donation to a worthy local charity enables you to recycle books while also helping those in need.  American Kidney Services (AKS) is an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization that uses the proceeds generated from your donations to support the American Kidney Fund which offers direct financial assistance to kidney patients throughout the nation. In fact, in 2019 AKF raised over $320 million for treatment-related assistance for kidney patients

Are you wondering how to make a book donation so that you can help support those in need? AKS makes it easy for our donors to make a donation drop off or request a donation pick up. You can donate books to our charity by:

  • Calling 770-441-2220 and asking to be added to our regular donor free pickup list.
  • Filling out our online form to join our free pickup list for donation pick ups.
  • Dropping off your donations at any 24/7 AKS donation drop box.
  • Bringing your book donation to any Value Village location in the Atlanta area.

Residents of Atlanta, Tucker, Woodstock, Kennesaw, and surrounding areas can scan their packed bookshelves for donations. It’s a great way to recycle books, organize, get rid of clutter, and, best of all, a book donation supports kidney health education programs and disease prevention efforts. In addition to books, AKS also welcomes donations of men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel, small appliances, electronics, home decor, cookware, tableware, and much more.
