Making a donation drop off in the Atlanta area is convenient and rewarding. American Kidney Services has worked hard to make sure that your generosity doesn’t have to come at the expense of your busy schedule. Simply follow the steps below and you’ll see how easy it is to make a difference in the lives of kidney disease sufferers across America.
- Sort through used clothing and household items in your home or office. AKS welcomes men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, in addition to books, silverware, electrical items, small kitchen appliances, glassware, and much more.
- Box or bag your donations and label them with “AKS.” If you plan on deducting your donation for tax purposes, make a list of the items you plan on donating. You can use our online clothing donation valuation guide to help you arrive at an estimate.
- Make your donation drop off at Value Village locations, or our 24/7 donation drop box donation centers. You can obtain a tax receipt at Value Village or our Atlanta storefront location, or you can call us and request a receipt if you made a drop-box donation.
- If you’re unable to make a clothing donation drop off, simply call 770-441-2220 or sign up online to add your name to our rotational pick up schedule. Drivers will leave a tax receipt for you.
