Donate Designer Clothes – Name Brand Donations Can Help Kidney Patients in Need throughout Atlanta, GA
Donate a designer handbag and you may just help someone suffering from kidney disease pay their weekly grocery bill. How? American Kidney Services collects your generous donations of used clothing and household items and generates proceeds that go directly to the American Kidney Fund (AKF). AKF is a 501(c)(3) charity that provides direct financial assistance to people who have kidney disease and are struggling to meet their daily living expenses because of their illness.
It’s easy to donate designer clothes and accessories to AKS because we provide free donation pick up service and a variety of convenient donation locations throughout the Atlanta area:
- Call 770-441-2220 to add your name and phone number to our regular donation free pickup list. Standard pick ups take place Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to dark. Expedited and special Saturday collections are available upon request for large donations from yard sales, community sales, and similar events.
- Fill out our online form so that we can contact you when donation pick ups are being scheduled in your area. We operate on a rotational schedule throughout Atlanta and surrounding areas, so you can expect a pick up approximately every four to six weeks.
- Drop your donations off at any Value Village thrift department store in Atlanta, Forest Park, Decatur, Douglasville, Marietta, Roswell, Riverdale, Stockbridge, Sugar Hill, Tucker, and Conyers.
- Donate designer items at any of the AKS donation drop boxes that are located throughout Atlanta and all surrounding areas. Click here to find a drop box near you.
When you donate designer clothes and accessories, or any other type of clothing or household items to AKS, your donations are tax deductible.* We gladly accept men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel, home décor accents, electronics, small furniture, small appliances, books, toys, and much more.
