AKS works closely with the American Kidney Fund to provide direct monetary assistance to patients suffering from kidney disease. Due to a rigorous dialysis treatment schedule, many of these individuals aren’t able to hold down a steady job, which makes it difficult for them to meet their daily living expenses. But with the help of AKF and generous Acworth residents who donate to our charitable organization, we can relieve some of their financial burden and help them with rent, utility bills, and grocery costs.
